Rev. Dr. Phuveyi and Ave Dozo while serving with the OC International at New Delhi from 1990 – 1998, and raising their children in the midst of financial, cultural, and the social struggles of finding a school where they could all fit in and grow wholesomely. A vision was laid by God to build a school that would impart quality, practical and character excellence through education and at affordable price in a conducive environment.
Thus, after returning to Nagaland, with much prayer, the present location was procured. And the school with basic structure was inaugurated on February 5, 2002 with 30 kids. Great Commission is an outcome of faith, sweat and hard labour. With the help of God, the Academy upgraded a level each year resulting in class 10 in 2008 and consequently Class 12 in 2014.
Today the school stands as Nagaland’s only school with emphasis for missionary kids.
